She co-produces the first-ever (mostly) female, Asian American standup comedy tour, Dis/orient/ed Comedy and was featured in Joan Rivers' 2013 Showtime documentary, Why We Laugh: Funny Women. Jenny's comedy has been featured on Ora TV's topical comedy show, Headline Punchline, and Lady Parts Justice comedy videos about reproductive health and justice. (Lady Parts Justice is the brainchild of Comedy Central's The Daily Show co-creator, Lizz Winstead.) She is also the co-host of Phil Yu's "Angry Asian America" web series on ISAtv a new media platform created by Far East Movement, and Wong Fu Productions, owners of one of the most-subscribed channels on YouTube. Jenny's work has also been seen on BBC News and Al Jazeera America. With a background in both advocacy politics and live-event entertainment, Jenny has become a sought-after host for mission-driven organizations throughout Southern California. Jenny has also quickly become a reliable resource for college and university classes and organizations presenting educational panels and workshops on issues including: Asian Americans in entertainment and media, women in comedy, ethnic comedy and humor, and finding your voice and career after college. Before her start in comedy and while most of her peers engaged in reckless behavior for sport, Jenny dedicated herself to the Los Angeles labor movement, graduated top of her class in political science at Swarthmore College, and was a Public Policy and International Affairs Fellow for a Master's in Urban Planning at UCLA. www.jennyyang.tv www.disorientedcomedy.weebly.com
