On March 1st, 2015, Soul Food Farm will present an exciting conference on revitalizing the world's damaged grasslands and the key role cattle grazing plays in its success. We are pleased to present two leading voices in this area of sustainable solutions, Allan Savory and Nicolette Hahn Niman.
Allan Savory is the founder of both the Savory Institute and the Africa Centre for Holistic Management. He is known throughout the world as a grassland ecosystem pioneer. His development of Holistic Management has shifted the focus of climate change toward reverse desertification and large-scale restoration of the world's grassland ecosystems.
Nicolette Hahn Niman is a former environmental attorney and sustainable food and farming expert. Author of "Righteous Porkchop" and the just released "Defending Beef", Nicolette has spent years as an author, rancher and defender of the environment. She will dispel the myths of cattle farming's effects on climate change, proving the benefits of responsible cattle ranching on air, soil and water.
