BlackBoy CONSCIOUS is a thought provoking play that journeys through the experience of sexuality, love, heartbreak, social awareness and spirituality of the young African-American man. Using the beautiful sounds of spoken word rap and folk style chanting, we take the journey with BLackBoy as he mentally grows from a young aspiring adolescent to a man with a complicated past and much wisdom.
