The Cherry Orchard - A Chekhovian Party hosted by Oasis Theater Company

The Oasis Theater Company will stage Anton Chekhovs master work, THE CHERRY ORCHARD, as an interactive theatre production in a private home in Angeleno Heights.

The Oasis hosts The Cherry Orchard as a Chekhovian Party you won't soon forget. Prepare for an evening of Russian delicacies and entertainment - Borscht and bread, teas and wines, vodka and deserts, served in the cool of the evening. Moving from the pastoral setting of the Orchard and the lovely gardens, to the interior of the home, the audience will view the Ballroom and Nursery up close and literally elbow to elbow with the actors.

Directed by James Carey, Producing Artistic Director at the Attic Theatre, and produced by Nicole Farmer, the show features a new revision by Marla Du Mont. Costume Design by Rachel Weir with Lighting Design by Christopher Singleton.

The set is the house and yard at 1417 Ridge Way, Los Angeles, CA 90026. Act 1 will be on the back patio of the home, Act 2 will have the audience follow the cast out to the garden, Act 3 will move inside and Act 4 returns to the patio for the final action. Sometimes the audience will be seated and other times follow the actors around the home.
