VERONA'S SUMMER - Inagural Gala for Two Pence Shakespeare!
Hosted by our temporary theatrical home The Evanston Arts Depot, Two Pence Shakespeare's gala VERONA'S SUMMER is sure to please!
Besides all the usual gala finery we'll be unveiling TROUSERS an original collection of some of Shakespeare's finest male roles, played by some of Chicago's finest FEMALE actors! Directed by Two Pence Artistic Director Tom Wells TROUSERS will feature an array of Two Pence cast members, friends and supporters, all talented women playing with some of the greatest MALE parts of the cannon!
Come start your summer off right with us by visiting Verona/Evanston and enjoying cocktails and hors d'oeuvre, perusing our silent auction and taking your chances on our raffle!
All proceeds go directly to funding The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet.
