The Sweets Truck's, Mother's Day Afternoon Tea
The Sweets Truck is pleased to announce a Mother's Day partnership with Rachel Ashwell Shabby Chic Couture in Santa Monica and Lisa Gache of Beverly Hills Manners to introduce a true afternoon tea with a Sweets Truck spin.
Our tea, hosted by children's etiquette expert Lisa Gache founder of Beverly Hills Manners will cover topics such as: tea attire & behavior, the gracious hostess, guest arrivals, making proper introductions, place settings, navigating the tea service, making pleasant conversation, saying good-bye and thank you notes.
Rachel Ashwell Shabby Chic Couture in Santa Monica is the ideal location with a relaxed California Chic vibe. Shabby Chic is a brand that embodies comfort, the beauty of imperfections, the allure of time-worn objects, and the appeal of simple practical living. The Sweets Truck can't imagine a tea without "mismatched floral china handed down from grandmother's attic," and found the perfect home for our afternoon tea w/ this beautiful location.
With scones made in the tradition of the British Isles, by Wild Thistle, imported Devon cream and jam and organic Earl grey tea the afternoon tea will be combine all of the favorite traditional tea elements; In addition, tea will be accompanied by sweets from The Sweets Truck bakers.
The Sweets Truck's, Elbows off the table and other things Mom taught you, Mother's Day Afternoon Tea, will be a wonderful afternoon shared in the company of family and friends in a beautiful location that combines elegance, a relaxed California enjoyment and a beautiful experience you can share.
