Dinner on the Farm
Does the thought of sitting at a farmhouse table laden with a simple, fresh-from-the-fields dinner, candles and wine put a smile on your face and make your pulse race a bit? Us too!
Join us for the first dinner of the 2010 Dinners on the Farm series at the Queens County Farm Museum. A joint venture between Queens Farm and Tamara Reynolds, chef and hostess of The Sunday Night Dinner in Astoria and co-author of Forking Fantastic! Put The Party Back In Dinner Party, this will be a series of community dinners that showcase the best this working farm has to offer.
Our inaugural dinner will be held in the Adriance Farmhouse, which dates from the early 18th century. Just about all the food--including pork, eggs, and produce--will be from our farm and served family style. The menu reflects not only the bounty of what Queens Farm has to offer but also the expansive culinary heritage of many of the groups who have made Queens the most diverse (and delicious!) borough.
