Stuart Milk Stuart is Harvey's nephew, a Human Rights Activist, LGBT Civil Rights Advocate, Global Equality Advisor, Youth and Workforce Services Advocate and the founder of the Harvey Milk Foundation, the beneficiary of this event.
Anne Kronenberg Anne is an American political administrator and LGBT rights activist. She is best known for being Harvey Milk's campaign manager during his historic San Francisco Board of Supervisors campaign in 1977 and his aide as he held that office
Dan Nicoletta Dan is a long time friend of Harvey and is an American photographer, photo journalist and gay rights activist. As a photographer, he has contributed to a number of films, as well as books and periodicals. He is also one of the founders of the Frameline Film Festival.
Nicole Murray Ramirez Nicole, known as Queen Mother Nicole the Great within the Imperial Court System, has been an LGBT activist for over 55 years and is currently a San Diego city commissioner.
Natalie Jones This inspiring young girl fought back when her elementary school censored her report on Harvey Milk last year. After receiving a nearly perfect score on the written report, she was told she couldn't present the report to the class wrongly citing a school policy on sex education.
Bevan Dufty Bevan is currently serving his second term as a member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors. He represents the City's District 8, the same area Harvey himself represented.
Jose Cisneros Jose is the elected Treasurer of the City and County of San Francisco. He was appointed by Mayor Gavin Newsom in September 2004, defended his position in 2005 and was sworn in for his first full term in 2006.
Frank M. Robinson Frank moved to San Francisco in the 70's and served as Harvey's speech writer. He is an accomplished writer and author of 16 books, three of which have been made into movies. He also had a small role in the film "Milk".
Mark Leno Senator Leno was largely responsible for helping Harvey Milk Day become a reality. Stuart Milk will present him with the first ever award from the Harvey Milk Foundation.
