Ephemerisle 2010

We regret to tell our community that after much discussion this week, we are canceling Ephemerisle 2010 due to insurance costs. For more information, please see www.ephemerisle.org

Ephemerisle is an annual floating festival of freedom, creativity, and community hosted by The Seasteading Institute (TSI), which is working toward supporting the establishment of permanent, autonomous, ocean communities.

Ephemerisle supplements TSI's more academic and engineering-focused conferences and workgroups by increasing awareness of the seasteading concept, allowing the testing of concepts and inventions, and bringing together interested people in a direct, experiential experiment in temporary floating community. (Plus, it's FUN!)

This year's festival will take place from noon on Thursday 7/22 through noon Sunday 7/25 in the Sacramento River Delta in California.
