Sleepless in Sreeattle - A Night of Social Media
The UW Communication Leadership program will host "Sleepless in Sreeattle with Sree Sreenivasan: A Night of Social Media" in partnership with the Seattle Art Museum (SAM).
Taught by @Sree, Chief Digital Officer of @MetMuseum.
The focus will be on getting the best use out of your time online (and on your phones), how to build more fans and followers and how to do all this in a smart, strategic, sustainable manner.

Prof. Sree Sreenivasan is delighted to be back in Seattle and to collaborate once again with UW Communication Leadership Program to teach and learn about social media. The first Chief Digital Officer of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, he was a professor, dean and eventually Chief Digital Officer of Columbia University and Columbia Journalism School over a 21-year period. He was named one of AdAge's 25 media people to follow on Twitter and one of Poynter's 35 most influential people in social media. Hanson Hosein will be introducing Sree Sreenivasan and will be facilitating the Q&A portion of the talk. Hanson Hosein is Director of the Communication Leadership graduate program at the University of Washington. He also heads HRH Media Group, a media production and communications strategy firm. Hanson is a pioneer of digital content creation. He directed the award-winning documentary films "Rising from Ruins" and "Independent America: The Two-Lane Search for Mom & Pop," which have been broadcast worldwide and stream on Netflix, Hulu, iTunes and Snagfilms.
