Get ready for a night of local up-and-coming talent as Apparel Design and Merchandising students showcase their innovative designs to the public at Runway 2010: Nouvelle. More than 200 garments will be shown down the runway, fresh ideas and trends you do not want to miss!
The Fashion Network Association, in collaboration with the Apparel Design & Merchandising Students at San Francisco State University are thrilled to announce the eleventh annual student fashion show Runway 2010: Nouvelle. Our mission is to ignite the passion for fashion by captivating our audience through an innovative and creative spring fashion show. Director of 7x7 Magazine, San Francisco, Tim Wudarski stated that, "this is a great way to exemplify local talent to the public, the previous year's had amazing designers and we are looking forward to this seeing this year's".
The show will also be showcasing designs from Wee Scotty, an interactive retail and sewing facility where designer Lynne Gallagher, brings fashion and families together. Designers aged 6-13 from her sewing facility will be showcasing their designs down the runway. A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to San Francisco's St. Vincent de Paul; a non-profit organization that provides human services to over 1,000 men, women, and children every day through a spectrum of different programs.
