Born from a cathartic, creative hurricane following the demise of the band Morphine,Twinemen have avoided the proverbial box with a passion (Dana Colley and Billy Conway hail from that famed trio). Our debut, Twinemen, and its follow-up, Sideshow, both critically acclaimed, were supported by extensive touring in Europe and the United States.

Twinetime is our newest collection, eight songs combining our varied musical muses. We often record while composing. Many of Twinetimeâs songs are first time instrumental voyages, shaped by a spontaneity achieved through improvisation. We keep the songs that surprise us, throw back the rest, and move on. The groove on this recording is deeper and darker, the songs even more untethered than their predecessors. Twinemen remain uncategorizable, whether we like it or not. Even we stammer when asked to describe our music. Many who have witnessed our live shows and recordings offer their own descriptions:

"Like optimists singing from the dark side.
