Here's the news that many of you have been waiting for! AleSmith is ready to offer more San Diego Pale Ale .394 bottles available by the six-pack.
There will be a total of 1,500 six-packs available for purchase. 500 six-packs will become available to reserve for pick-up here on Brown Paper Tickets starting Monday, December 8th at 12:00pm; another 1,000 SD Pale Ale six-packs will be available to purchase in the AleSmith Tasting Room starting Wednesday, December 10th.

In early 2014, Tony Gwynn's team approached AleSmith to create a distinctive beer for the baseball legend. A meeting was called at the Gwynn household, which included a sampling of AleSmith beers to identify Tony's preferences. He wanted the beer to be "light with a kick" which he elaborated further to mean full of hop character and light in body and color.
The result of the Gwynn family's feedback on test batches rendered a golden pale ale full of American hop flavor and aroma, with a subdued bitterness and a malty sweet finish.
AleSmith San Diego Pale Ale .394 pays tribute to the city that Tony loved and the career high batting average that he achieved in '94. Discover what happens when a Hall of Fame perfectionist crafts a beer with a world-class brewery. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Tony and Alicia Gwynn Foundation (TAG).

Starting Monday, December 8th at 12:00pm, you will be able to purchase up to two (2) six-packs of San Diego Pale Ale .394.
Bottles can be picked up starting Wednesday, December 10th at the AleSmith Tasting Room. Bottles can be retrieved during tasting room hours from Wednesday, December 10th through Wednesday, December 31st 2014. (Tasting Room Hours: Mon-Fri: 12pm-9pm, Sat: 11am-9pm & Sun: 11am-7pm.) **Any bottles not retrieved by WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 31st will be surrendered back to the brewery (no exceptions).**
Please DO NOT PURCHASE BOTTLES UNLESS YOU ARE SURE YOU CAN MAKE IT TO THE BREWERY BY December 31, 2014.
You will need to show proof of purchase (in the form of confirmation email from Brown Paper Tickets) and valid ID to retrieve your bottles.
Please ensure you only pick up bottles during the following dates/times: Mon-Fri: 12pm-9pm, Sat: 11am-9pm & Sun: 11am-7pm (**please visit our website for special holiday hours). Please do not purchase bottles until you've read the terms and conditions, and can ensure you will be able to pick up your bottles by WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 31st, 2014!
