In Durang's Shorts
Absurd and hysterically irreverent, In Durang's Shorts is an evening of over-the-top comedy. Come see Iron Crow Theatre's debut production as they present six of Christopher Durang's most memorable short plays. Join the Hardy Boys, Frank and Joe, as they investigate why Nancy Drew is being forced to marry simply for baking buns in her oven. Watch a day in the life of Nina as she anxiously awaits the return of her plastic surgeon from Aruba. See Amanda try to make her son Lawrence more appealing to a lady caller despite his limp, his asthma, his eczema, and his menagerie of swizzle sticks.
In Durang's Shorts features Iron Crow company members Katie Barth, Patrik Moss Fleming, Valerie Hewitt, Joseph W. Ritsch, Steven J. Satta, Sarah Lynn Taylor, and Paul Wissman, as well as guest artists Marsha Becker, Tom Hedgpeth, and Michele Minnick.
The Evening's Full Repertoire:
Mrs. Sorken Nina in the Morning The Hardy Boys and the Mystery of Where Babies Come From Medea Phyllis & Xenobia For Whom the Southern Bell Tolls
All proceeds from our opening night performance on April 8th will be donated to Moveable Feast, an organization which provides meals and support for homebound people living with AIDS.
