From Magnolia Music Studio Director, Cynthia Vaughn ABOUT MY SISTER......... "My younger sister Sharyn has been living with multiple sclerosis for more than a decade. She is an amazing woman, a creative and talented artist who makes kickin' homemade salsa and is the best "Grammy" to her grandchildren Henry and Olivia. When we were kids Sharyn was a tough kid who wanted to grow up to be a Roller Derby Queen or a Motorcycle Mama (seriously). She actually grew up to be an Automotive Warranty Administrator, but It turns out that she needed all of that Roller Derby toughness to fight MS every day. Sharyn loves life and does her best to keep her spirits up and "Move it!" Not long ago, her kids surprised her with tickets to see Willie Nelson in concert at Red Rocks. Sharyn's prized possession is a red bandana that Willie placed in her hand from the stage! Omigosh! Its a good thing no one tried to grab that bandana. She woud have run them over with her chair!
The Colorado chapter of the National MS Society has been a fabulous resource for Sharyn: "I couldn't do this without them. I just love Kaylin and everyone in the MS office. They are the best."
So, come to this benefit or join The Slow Pokes online because I love my amazing sister and I hate MS!" Move it! Cynthia Vaughn, director Magnolia Music Studio in Old Town, Fort Collins CO March 8-14 is National MS Awareness Week.
