Sometimes, for better or worse, kids have to take matters into their own hands. In this collection of fiction and documentary films, kids face off against the odds by making decisions that are sometimes wise, sometimes brash and always unexpected. Meet a straight-laced girl from a wild family, a boy who finds a way to get his warring mom and dad to listen to him, a girl who is determined to win at her game, and a real-life boy who lives life to the fullest despite a chronic illness.
For ages 10+. Films in French, Dutch and Italian are subtitled in English. Mild, brief swearing and some scenes of emotional difficulty around issues of illness, bullying and divorce.
