Please join us on September 23rd at 5:00pm for a fun packed evening benefiting the work of the Rafiki Village Project.  Listen to music, dance, eat, drink, socialize with friends,  bid on auction items, gamble on raffle tickets and learn about the Rafiki Village Project;  all while supporting a good cause.

The Rafiki Village Project is a 501(c)3 nonprofit.  Its mission is to improve health, increase literacy, and promote economic prosperity in Tanzanian villages. The Rafiki Village Project is currently working in the village of Gijega , a rural community of subsistence farmers and pastoralists.  Poverty, malnutrition, illiteracy, lack of access to clean water, and inadequate health care are among the challenges confronting the villagers.  In the past year The Rafiki Village Project has funded the construction of a new school kitchen at the local primary school, worked with the community to start a school lunch program, funded the renovation of the schools classrooms, built a bathroom for the teachers, and funded a program for the purchase of antibiotics for the local health clinic.  To learn more about the Rafiki Village Project visit our website at http://www.rafikivp.org/ or our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/rafikivp/?ref=br_rs
